CTS Pipe — Copper Tube Size
Interstate Plastic manufactures CTS pipe to ASTM D-2737 in SDR-9 for a 250 PSI pressure rating. CTS pipe is sized to match copper tubing outside diameters, making it compatible with compression fittings designed for copper service lines. Available in black, blue, and purple for potable water and reclaimed water applications.

Copper Fitting Compatibility
CTS pipe outside diameters match copper tubing dimensions exactly. Standard compression fittings, ball valves, and meter couplings designed for copper service lines work directly with CTS polyethylene pipe — no adapter needed. This makes CTS the preferred choice for water service line replacements and meter connections in areas where copper was previously used.
